Food and nutrient data are available for a range of uses including dietary assessment, nutrition surveys and research, development of nutrition policies and guidelines, product analyses and labelling, and nutrition claims.

Information from the database is available in various forms. For example, users have access to nutrient data for more than 2650 foods in FOODfiles.

The 8th Edition of the Concise New Zealand Food Composition Tables is available as a pdf document.

A hard copy of the 7th Edition can be purchased from Plant & Food Research.
