Dr Lucy Lesperance – Research leader New Zealand Food Composition
Database
Lucy is responsible for leading the development of the
NZFCD and for a consultancy service for the development of Nutrient Information
Panels and food labels. Please contact Lucy if you would like more information

Suba Sivakumaran – New Zealand Food Composition Database Scientist
Suba is responsible for food sampling, preparation and
coordination of analytical services. She has a background in analytical
chemistry. Please contact Suba if you would like more information.
Kiri Sharp – Nutrition technician
Kiri is responsible for food compilation and dissemination
of nutrient data. With her background in nutrition she is involved in
the development of nutrient plans for foods. Please contact Kiri if

Zac Clark – Food IMS database support person
Zac is responsible for maintaining data using Crop & Food Research's
new web-based food information management system, Food IMS.
The New Zealand
Institute for Plant & Food Research Limited and the Ministry of Health
jointly own and fund the New Zealand Food Composition
Database. Staff at Plant & Food Research manage and maintain the database.
