Chemicals
Overall many insecticides and fungicides are toxic to earthworms, yet many of the herbicides are relatively harmless (when used at the prescribed rates). Limiting the use of the more harmful insecticides, fungicides and fumigants would undoubtedly be beneficial to earthworms.
